BBL is a next-generation Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment that uses broad-spectrum light to target specific skin conditions. It penetrates deep into the skin, promoting cellular renewal and boosting collagen. This versatile treatment is ideal for reducing pigmentation, sunspots, redness, broken capillaries, and more – all while improving skin texture and tone.
Our BBL treatments are fully customised based on your skin type and goals. Using pulses of light, the BBL device targets pigmented and vascular lesions, triggering the body to naturally eliminate damaged skin cells. At the same time, collagen production is stimulated, leading to smoother, clearer skin. Clients from across Essex choose Nish Clinic for our skilled practitioners and proven results.
BBL is ideal for addressing:
Many clients experience a dramatic improvement in skin clarity after just a few sessions.
A session typically lasts 20–45 minutes. You’ll wear protective eyewear, and a cooling gel may be applied. You may feel brief flashes of light with a mild warming sensation. Most clients find the treatment comfortable and require no anaesthesia.
Side effects are minimal – some redness or mild swelling may occur and usually resolves within a few hours. Dark spots may temporarily darken before flaking off within 7–14 days. Full aftercare instructions are provided by our team.
You’ll likely notice brighter, more even-toned skin shortly after your first treatment. More dramatic improvements occur over the following weeks as collagen rebuilds and pigmentation clears. We usually recommend 3–5 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart, with top-ups as needed.
