How is acne scars treated at Nish Clinic ?

We offer a selection of different treatment options for acne scarring. Depending on the severity of your scarring, we may recommend:

  • Microneedling: uses tiny needles to create micro-injuries to the skin to induce collagen production and wound healing, which improves the appearance of scars
  • Chemical peels: by applying active ingredients from our impressive mesoestetic or Perfect Peel ranges, we can effectively ‘peel’ the top layer of damaged and scarred skin to reveal a smoother and brighter appearance underneath
  • Radiofrequency: heats the underlying layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production, which will lead to better skin quality and scar reduction
  • Laser: the HALO laser from Sciton is capable of rejuvenating both the deeper and upper layers of the skin so is a great option for severe acne scarring. It can also be used alongside the Forever Clear BBL to reduce any hyperpigmentation surrounding the scars
